So recently I received a question on Youtube asking if I would kick a student out of my BJJ class because they believe in flat earth.

Now I’m pretty sure this BJJ question from Gil was a complete joke.

But I think that looking at the question illustrates a really cool aspect of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Which is the wide array of people who train Jiu-jitsu.

I know that in my personal experience. There are so many people that I’ve met and who have had been very impactful in my life that I would have never met if it wasn’t for my time in Brazilian Jiujitsu.

One of the coolest parts of this is that BJJ acts as a glue that sort of brings people in together. It cuts past all of the things that often separate us and divide us outside of the Brazilian Jiujitsu gym.

It doesn’t matter what god you believe in or how much money you make. All that matters when you come into your Brazilian Jiujitsu gym is that you want to train and become better with your partners.

Brazilian Jiujitsu is something that can bring people together in such a cool way. So. . . just appreciate it.

Hope you enjoyed the thought in the video.
