I had the opportunity to edit this piece about my friend and BJJ trainer Yannick Beven.
I’ve travelled all around the world with him and I follow his trainings for almost four years now.
His vision of sports, and life in general, is a great inspiration for me and for all the people around him.
I’m a BJJ addict, thanks to him and I’ve got a lot of respect for what he’s doing with his athletes.
All these footage were shot these last 3 years by Nicolas “Daz” Dazet and myself using HVX-200, Mark II 5D and a lot of other cameras…
A big thanks to Bixente Lizarazu who directed the interviews and provided us a place to shoot some technical moves. Everyone knows how a great soccer player he was but he’s also a really talented Jiu-Jitsu fighter, he was the 2009 European Champion.
