In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu we are often taught how to defend ourselves from the bottom but rarely do we discuss what to do if someone on top of us is allowed to punch. When strikes are allowed it can change the entire game. The best way to learn how effective our guards can be vs a striking opponent is to get on the mat and try it.
